IT'S OUR TIME

The best time to break ground on a local university was, probably, around 1998.
Unfortunately, most politicians don't have a mind to look much further than the next election.  The second best time is right now.

Alberta has outpaced Ontario in growth each year since the turn of the millennium, yet while they’ve broken ground on three new Universities since 2000, Alberta and Saskatchewan haven’t since 1971.

Your property taxes fund our local schools and those kids grow up, go to university
elsewhere, and they do not come back. That investment gets lost to the city forever, and this happens every year.

Once elected to City Council I will start the long overdue process of breaking ground
on a local University, perfectly located to serve the populations of both Alberta and
Saskatchewan, bringing thousands of renters for your properties and customers for your
businesses, and hundreds of good jobs to this deserving city.
